Day 1 Arrive in Seattle, WA

Arrive in Seattle and relax at your hotel.

Day 2 Depart Seattle, WA

Seattle sits on the slip of land between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, with the Olympic and Cascade Mountains serving as a dramatic backdrop for this oh-so cosmopolitan city. Soar up thefuturistic Space Needle and experiencethe views atop this stunning landmarkcreated for the 1962 World’s Fair.

Day 3 Enjoy Your Time at Sea

Day 4 Sitka, AK

Sitka is a charming island community surrounded with stunning mountain and seaside panoramic views. The vast and rich wildlife boasts sightings of whales, brown bears, deer, sea otters, and various birds flock here. This destination offers superb fishing and plentiful historical attractions.

Day 5 Juneau, AK

Juneau has been called “Alaska’s peak experience,” certainly due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Kayak up one of the area’s many protected waterways, go sight - seeing, tour historic downtown or try your hand at panning for gold. The majestic Mendenhall Glacier lies nearly 12 miles outside Juneau, a treck worthwhile.

Day 6 Icy Strait Point, AK

Venture “where the north wind doesn’t blow.” Known for this famous saying, Icy Strait Point is the ideal landing spot for adventurers seeking a new experience. Breathtaking and exciting, Icy Strait Point truly takes you where the wild things are. It’s one of the few places in the world where wildlife outnumbers the human population. A trip here certainly satisfies your taste for adventure

Day 7 Ketchikan, AK

Thanks to its abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is surrounded by some of the world’s most lush wilderness. Its Tlingit Indian name, Kach Khanna, means “spread wings of the eagle.” Chances are you’ll see one of these magnificent birds perched atop a Sitka tree during your Alaska cruise to Ketchikan (Ward Cove).

Day 8 Victoria, B.C

Roam the spacious lawns of stunning Butchart Gardens with its exotic flora, unusual topiary and exquisite fountains. Explore historic Bastion Square, the treasures of Chinatown and the many sights and sounds to be found along the boardwalk of the Inner Harbour.

Day 9 Arrive in Seattle, WA

Airport transfer will be provided as you make your way home.

Q: What if I am departing from a different city/state than the group?

A: If you live and/or are traveling from another destination than the group, you can request a different departure city and if possible, we will book the domestic flights for you to join the group for the remainder of the travel.

For any domestic departure city requests, please note that they are subject to additional fees outside of the group flight costs. The deadline to submit these departure city requests is the first payment deadline and/or 120 days before the departure date of your trip.

Q: What if I have a medical device? (i.e CPAP, diabetic pump and/or diabetic supplies, etc.)

A: Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be bringing a CPAP machine (or other medical devices), and specifically if you will be using it on the plane. Q: What are the trip payment deadlines?

Q: Can I use my airline miles to pay for my plane ticket?

A: Since our company books plane tickets on group contracts with the airlines, we are unable to use traveler miles to pay for your ticket. However, if you’d like to use your miles, you can book as a “Land Only” traveler and purchase your own plane tickets with your miles. We will provide you with the flight times and numbers of the group contract so that you can choose flights that line up with the rest of your group.

Q: When will I know the final details of my trip?

We provide every traveler with a traveler packet via mail within roughly 30 days in advance of the departure date. Each packet includes a flight itinerary, travel journal, luggage tags, power outlet adapter, and neck wallet with a name tag. Your tour host will typically communicate the specifics with the group at an informational meeting prior to departure.

Q: What is a single supplement fee and how do I know if I have one?

A: The single supplement charge is the fee that occurs if you are in a single room on a trip. Prices are listed per component upon registration. If you are wanting to be paired with a roommate, we will do our best to find one for you. We cannot guarantee we will find a roommate to pair you with, so we recommend finding someone to room with within your group before you register. The final deadline to find a roommate is the final payment deadline. After that date, the single supplement charge will be applied to your account.

Q: How many suitcases can I bring?

A: You have paid porterage for one suitcase as your checked bag. The airlines will allow one suitcase per traveler (not to exceed 30”x21”x18” and 50 lbs). Be sure all bags are clearly marked with your name and address. Pack any medicine and valuables in your carry-on bag. On most airlines, you are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal item such as a small purse. For more information on bag requirements please see the links below specific to the airlines. Remember that you are responsible for your passport and carry-on at all times.

Q: What to do in case of an emergency?

A: If you purchased insurance, contact your insurance provider for your next steps. This is not included in our services nor can it be purchased through Travel with Friends.

Your travel insurance provider will assist you with any reservation services, rental car, closest hotels available, organized transport services, lost passport information, and more travel
related emergencies.

For travel insurance-covered expenses specifically, please call the customer care center of your insurance provider.

“What a trip! Leading up to visiting Israel we were excited with anticipation, but boy did it exceed anything we had imagined. Our tour guide CJ was outstanding. He broke down the Jewish culture, past and modern history, biblical connections/application, and geography of Israel at every site. It was just so awesome with how many sites and artifacts we were shown and how seamlessly our trip was organized. Throughout the week we were taken well care of. We stayed in very nice hotels, ate great food, and enjoyed a comfortable, air-conditioned bus driven by our expert driver, Happy. Happy made sure we stayed hydrated and took extra special care of us in keeping us safe. CJ and Happy complemented each other wonderfully. With packed days of touring, we enjoyed restful evenings. We also felt safe and secure throughout our travels, allowing us to delve fully into what we were learning and what God was teaching us about Himself.
Besides enjoying CJ and Happys sense of humor, we quickly experienced camaraderie between the rest of our group, which made little things like traveling, eating, and taking pictures fun. Thank you all for loving on us; we thank God for you and this short time we were able to connect. And most importantly we thank God as we recognize all the lessons we learned along the way. He definitely used this trip to reveal new things to us as we learned more about the Bible, God, and ourselves.

This was my first time to Isreal, and it was such a fantastic trip due to our guide Adam and our driver Money Mike! Adam is so knowledgeable and was really able to make each site come alive for me. We had a really large group, and I am sure that Adam felt like he was “herding cats” all week, but he kept us together and moving through the areas while sharing so much information. With Mike’s driving and sense of humor, I felt very safe even though the streets sometimes seemed way too narrow for all of the buses and cars! The team of Adam and Money Mike were fabulous, and I would highly recommend them!!

If you’re doing the Holy Land Tour, there’s no question in which company to choose - it’s Travel With Friends!
